Terms of Use

These terms are an agreement between you and JR Consulting Co. ("we", "us"), the operator of Waypal. By creating an account you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use Waypal.

1. Who can use Waypal

You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract. You may have only one account, and the information on it must be true. We may remove accounts that break these rules.

2. What Waypal is, and isn't

Waypal helps travellers find each other and arrange to meet. We don't organise, supervise or take part in any plan, and we don't run criminal background checks on users. You are responsible for your own safety and your decisions about whom to meet. Read our safety tips before meeting anyone.

3. Community guidelines

You agree not to:

• harass, threaten, stalk, bully or intimidate anyone;
• post sexual content, nudity, or hateful, violent or discriminatory content;
• use Waypal for dating solicitation, escorting, sex work or anything involving minors;
• sell or promote goods, services, tours or events for profit without our written permission, or send spam;
• impersonate anyone, use someone else's photo, or misstate your age or gender;
• arrange anything illegal, including drug sales;
• host a women-only plan to gain access to women if you are not a woman;
• scrape, reverse-engineer, overload or interfere with the service.

We may remove content, limit features, or suspend or ban accounts that break these guidelines, with or without notice. Report problems in the app (long-press a message or use the ⋯ menu on a profile) or by email.

4. Your content

You own what you post. You give us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, display and distribute it within Waypal, only for running the service. This licence ends when you delete the content or your account, except for copies other users already received in chats or that we must keep by law.

5. Waypal Plus subscriptions

• Plus is sold through Google Play as a weekly, monthly or yearly auto-renewing subscription. The price is shown before you buy.
• Payment is charged to your Google account. It renews automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• Cancel any time in Google Play → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions. You keep Plus until the end of the paid period.
• Refunds are handled under Google Play's refund policy. Nothing here limits refund rights you have under the law of your country.
• Deleting your account does not cancel a Google Play subscription. Cancel it in Google Play first.
• We may change Plus features or prices. Price changes for existing subscribers follow Google Play's notice and consent process.

6. Termination

You can stop using Waypal and delete your account at any time. We can suspend or end your access if you break these terms or if we have to for legal reasons. If we shut down Waypal entirely, we'll give reasonable notice in the app.

7. Disclaimers

Waypal is provided "as is". We don't guarantee that plans will happen, that users are who they say they are, or that the service will be uninterrupted. To the extent the law allows, we disclaim all implied warranties.

8. Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for the conduct of any user online or offline. Our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim or USD 50. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or anything else that cannot be limited by law.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of India have jurisdiction, without taking away the protection of mandatory consumer laws in the country where you live.

10. Changes

We may update these terms. If a change is material, we'll tell you in the app before it takes effect. Continuing to use Waypal after that means you accept the new terms.
